Hackers want your files, not your password

Contracts, invoices, identity documents, HR data... A password can be changed in 10 seconds. Having your ID stolen follows you for years.

The real weak link

The weak link is rarely the server. It's:

• The file stored in plain text locally or in the cloud.
• The Drive shared with "anyone with the link".
• The accountant's WeTransfer.

Password vs encryption

A password protects access. Encryption protects the file itself. In the event of unauthorised access to your local storage or Drive, an encrypted file remains unreadable.
