Lockystar lets you work, alone or with your contacts, on documents stored in the cloud, particularly on Google Drive. This is done seamlessly, simply, and of course with your consent.
To connect Lockystar to Google Drive, choose Google Drive from the Storage Spaces menu; your browser will open to the Google consent page.
Once authenticated with your Google account, you will see a screen asking for your permission to allow Lockystar to access a number of authorisations.
Requested permissions:
- View, edit, create and delete files in Google Drive.
- View and download all your files in Google Drive.
- View photos, videos and albums in Google Photos.
- View and manage metadata of files in your Google Drive account.
- Modify the behaviour of your Google Apps Scripts.
- View, create and delete its own configuration data in Google Drive.
- Access information about your Google Drive files.
- View, edit, create and delete only the specific Google Drive files that you use with this application.
These permissions are necessary to allow Lockystar to:
- Save the files you edit.
- Allow you to browse your Drive folder structure.
- Share documents with your contacts.
- ...generally, to let you do in Lockystar what you would do directly in Google Drive.
These authorisations are stored by Lockystar only on your device: only you have access to them. Lockystar does not collect any information, and no authorisation requested from Google is used outside your device, or by anyone other than you.
